Delete your account
You can delete your Beauty Space account at any time. Here is how, and what happens to your data.
In the app
- Clients and assistants: open Settings and choose “Delete my account”.
- Makeup artists: open your profile and choose “Delete my account”.
The app tells you exactly what will be deleted before you confirm.
Without the app
Write to Mohamed_said@beautyspace.io with the phone number on your account and “Delete my account”. We will message that number on WhatsApp to make sure the request is yours, then delete the account and write back to tell you it is done — usually within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your name, phone number, email, gender, date of birth and photo.
- Your devices, sign-in sessions and saved artists.
- For an artist: her profile and link, photos and videos, costs and receipts, notes on clients, InstaPay handle and assistants’ access.
What is kept, and why
Bookings, payments, reviews and messages stay, without your name: they are also the history of the person on the other side, and the artist’s business records. Database backups are kept for up to 7 days.
If a booking is still ahead
An account cannot be deleted while a booking is still ahead, so nobody is left waiting. Cancel the booking first — or, if you are an artist, cancel or decline it — and then delete the account.
